Swimming Pool Rules
Pool hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
If you have a concern with the maintenance of the pools, contact Jeff Cameron 450-9301.
Each River Bend Bluffs residence will be issued one key for the pool. This key also opens the door to the tennis courts. If you do not have a key, need a replacement key or your key is not working, contact a member of the Swimming Pool Committee (see Committees tab). If this is a replacement key for one that was lost or misplaced, you will be charged a $10.00 fee. The old key will be deactivated so it cannot be used by anyone else.
- Pool keys are for residents only. Do not loan or give your key to someone else.
- Each household is allowed to bring guests six (6) times per year. There may only be four (4) guests per visit. If you believe you have a special circumstance, you may call one of the board members to appeal this.
- No running or diving is allowed in the pool area.
- No glassware of any type is allowed in the pool area. Dispose of all trash in the appropriate containers.
- No smoking, vaping or chewing tobacco is allowed in the pool area.
- Rafts, rings, water guns, balls and frisbees should be used with consideration of other guests and not used if the pool is crowded.
- Children ages 14 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult. No one is to swim alone. Use the buddy system.
- The gate to the pool area is to be locked at all times. This is a state law.
- Disposable diapers are not permitted in the pool because they can disintegrate and clog the filter. Children not toilet trained should wear a swim diaper.
- Diapers are not to be changed poolside. There is a changing station in the women's restroom and a bench in the men's restroom.
- Cut-off shorts are not permitted in the pool. Strings from these clothing items clog the pool filter.
- Personal listening devices require headphones.
- No pets are permitted to be inside the fenced area, around the pool or in the pool.
- Oil based tanning products can cause damage to the pool. You must shower before using the pool (this is a state law).
- Be responsible when you leave the pool area. Lock the gate and throw away your trash.
- Please do not eat or drink while in the enclosed pool area. Per state law, food and drinks are not allowed in the pool area.
- The baby pool is for babies. Unless you are supervising a small child and need to get in the pool with the child for safety reasons, do not get in the baby pool. It has a small amount of water which gets out of pH balance easily. This increases the chance of bacteria when older children and adults are in it.
